Hazleton estate
Hazleton Way is on the eastern side of Cowplain and leads to Horndean. This estate was built in the 1960s on the site of Hazleton Wood and is known locally as the Hazleton Estate. The area is mostly bungalows, although many have since been converted to chalets. There’s also some houses too. Located half way along Hazleton Way is a parade of shops which includes a convenience store. Hazleton Nature reserve is an excellent place for a walk without needing to go far from home. There’s also good access to the A3(M) via the Horndean junction.
